    Anyone know of any motorhome friendly pub on the Welsh / English Border?

    'The Trotting Mare' pub, situated halfway between Overton on Dee and Ellesmere, post code LL13OLE, caravan site behind the pub, very clean facilities £16 to £22 p/n all inclusive.:thumb:

    ahh, bless remember this one well. Used to love going their with our caravan.. lovely pub... there is also the Bickerton Poacher near Chester.

    The Wingfield Arms Montford Bridge just outside Shrewsbury. CL and Restaurant.
    The Anchor Inn opp Tintern Abbey Landlord allows stopovers to customers.

    Hi we stayed at the Griffen inn just outside wrexham about 8 miles from chester. It was a lovely wee site and staff very relaxed and pleasant. Went in for a meal at the pub and very nice. I think its a ccc cs site but we are not members and was ok.

    Probably too south and a bit in Wales for you but The Chainbridge Inn just outside Usk or the Rising Sun on the Abergavenny to Hereford road are both ok.
