Take it super easy for a couple of weeks! I had 3 stents at 48 years old 50 now,. Familial or hereditary reason. Sister at 53 years had exactly the same op in Australia. Make sure you go to the gym that they set up for you. (very important, probably more so for psychological reasons as well as overall health status}.

Never stop learning 😊
Glad you are home and feeling better, forgive me for throwing a "cautionary tale" onto the thread.

Last year a friend of ours had a couple of stents fitted and was home the same day. He SAID that he'd been told to rest for "just one week" but within a few days he was mowing the lawn and on day 8 played a round of golf. Sadly, on day 10 he had a massive 'cardiac event', never regained consciousness and died three days later. His wife subsequently told us "his stent failed him" but privately everyone is saying "er, no, HE failed his stent".

The stent procedure is a miracle of modern medicine but you have to give the body time for new tissue to adhere to the stent and thus secure it very firmly in place. Everyone I know who has had the procedure says at least 6 weeks . . . Dr Google says the same. Please take care of yourself, and Mrs @Popeye too.

Take care Rod, look after yourself for the recovery, to avoid any additional stress it may be advisable not to follow the Albion results for the next few months.
