First time on the ferry Newcastle to Amsterdam, going great until they tried to lower port ramps, can’t get them to move, so we’re sat here still when we should be well into Germany
Disembark should be 09:45
They’ve had to bring this wee thing in to sort it out

Well back to the van and still cold, got hot water, tried resetting, boiler starts but I can’t feel the pump working even though it says on the panel it is, fuse is good, the glycol is up to temp so I suspect the boiler starts then shuts of as temp is reached, pipe at pump end cold so either that or the panel on the boilers gone down.think it’s sorted, only twiddled the speed setting on the pump, maybe a sticking pump?
Going up town and hopefully back to a toasty van![]()

Cheers MartinHi Mark
Not having much luck this trip, have you got power at the pump when the panel says it is running? you could just run a 12v to the pump and it will run all the time if it is actually working, if you get too warm just put the pump into continuous on the panel and the boiler should then regulate the temperature as the pump runs all the time (domestic water will not be hot though)
Pump inadvertently set to 240v?
As Martin says check the pump is set to 12v, I’ve had it a couple of times when it’s been on 240 (Hi Mark

Ok, heating working when plugged into mains, in my Alde system I can’t see any settings that let me put it on 240, i have a 230 setting but it’s constantly greyed out so not sure where it would beAs Martin says check the pump is set to 12v, I’ve had it a couple of times when it’s been on 240 () and would just shut down once the water in the boiler is hot and not pump round!!
