First time on the ferry Newcastle to Amsterdam, going great until they tried to lower port ramps, can’t get them to move, so we’re sat here still when we should be well into Germany 😩
Disembark should be 09:45👎

They’ve had to bring this wee thing in to sort it out

Swing deck can be a pain in the A when I worked for a ferry company in the early 1980s the ramps would often jam when being hoisted or lowered we fid pack the cars in though at peak times people sometimes had to get out of the car windows.

Yes Mark, wanted to crack on towards Schlüsselfeld, should be a couple of hrs from here, chilling this morning, literally 🥶🥶
We had a frost a couple of mornings when at the factory mid-September Mark🥶🥶
Have a good trip and we may see you about as still planning on heading over the start of December but not decide where yet.
Will probably decide when we land in France 😁😁

We should be back in Blighty next Sunday, only out here for a week Mark, next trip after that is Spain/ Portugal at the end of Jan for a couple of months, we’re Spanish virgins so gleaning as much info off here to be done before the off

Glad you're on the move I hope the heating is sorted easily, if not do as my mother used to say and put a jumper on :giggle:

Have the ferry book from Portsmouth at the beginning of May as we have also not been that way before in the van.
Fancied a change from Germany 😁😁
Probably won’t do much of Spain maybe just Cadiz and Seville as we want to park up for a bit longer between sites this time.

🤞think it’s sorted, only twiddled the speed setting on the pump, maybe a sticking pump?
Going up town and hopefully back to a toasty van🔥
Well back to the van and still cold, got hot water, tried resetting, boiler starts but I can’t feel the pump working even though it says on the panel it is, fuse is good, the glycol is up to temp so I suspect the boiler starts then shuts of as temp is reached, pipe at pump end cold so either that or the panel on the boilers gone down.🤬🤬👎

Could be an expensive factory visit Mark😳😳😳

Hi Mark

Not having much luck this trip, have you got power at the pump when the panel says it is running? you could just run a 12v to the pump and it will run all the time if it is actually working, if you get too warm just put the pump into continuous on the panel and the boiler should then regulate the temperature as the pump runs all the time (domestic water will not be hot though)

Pump inadvertently set to 240v?

As Martin says check the pump is set to 12v, I’ve had it a couple of times when it’s been on 240 (🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️) and would just shut down once the water in the boiler is hot and not pump round!!
Oh btw I’m assuming it’s alde👍

Ok, heating working when plugged into mains, in my Alde system I can’t see any settings that let me put it on 240, i have a 230 setting but it’s constantly greyed out so not sure where it would be🤷‍♀️
Now battering my brain trying to get our Draytek router to connect to the internet 🤬😂😂

God help me when I’m proper old if I can’t work it out now🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So pump running OK Mark? you say 230v setting is greyed out, do you mean pump on 230v ? if you don'r have a 230v pump it won't show as an option.
