Not paid for trackdays. We just get the day for free and as much tracktime as we can handle.

And as for pensions, all our money is in property. Much better return.

Sorry to have to ask but are "track days" please?

Edit: Whooops ... forgot to say ... Happy times with your retirement!

Thanks.

Trackdays are where you can ride your own motorcycle around the countries best race circuits in a non race environment. Great fun.

I used to race and now I instruct on these trackdays

Enjoy each day, retirement is great I only miss that Friday evening feeling of another week completed, but hey the Sunday evening feeling of not have to start again on Monday more than makes up for it..

I've done it for 12 years and it's a real passion. I love it and it's very rewarding.

What more could you ask for !!

Oh yes, some expenses. At least tyres and fuel.

I have seen the same in many flying clubs but even though the instructors turn up and give their time they at least use club planes. Same passion. I know one guy, retired from flying 747s and immediately started flying instruction. And another, active in Tornadoes over Bosnia, spent his free time instructing.

There's a very similar adrenaline rush with both sports, many a day I'd ride/fly/ride and ponder which was the biggest buzz. I gave up flying so there's the answer, but it's very close.
