Full circle and it's hi honey I'm home, Janie points at our apartment in Javea Spain.

We had a bit of a journey this time, when we left it was up through France Italy down to Croatia that seems ages ago, in fact we met a couple there and just had a message from them they will be here in a couple of weeks and just can't place them at the moment.
Thats the trouble you meet so many people travelling, some times its just a chat and others it feels like you have always known them.

Anyway then back though Slovenia Austria Germany France UK then the plan was stay in France before returning but................... we had so much rain we headed for Portugal always a favorite of ours and our thoughts are with the people that have had such a bad time with the fires.

We had a two day trek across Spain, last night we ended up on a aire, only to meet some friends that we met in Alvor Portugal a few years ago and discovered that her aunt lives in Javea, so expecting a visit in November.

So here we are, the apartment still feels like home, just been out to a restaurant on the front had a lovely meal not as cheap as Portugal @Sundowners .

Our house keepers did a fantastic job, hope they can do it again next year, so much better having full control over the bookings meet and greet and building up friendships with our clients, people say do you regret what you have done.

Not at all, we have had brilliant people staying here, it makes you feel good that they enjoy our home as much as we do, yes a couple of broken plates extra cleaning for two bookings that will not be coming back .

So back to a normal life, not a lot of driving. More socialising catching up with everyone and those that follow Janie on face book doing her walking in the hills and many photos, one of the first things out the van was her boots.

HI Kate Yes thanks for all the shares you and everyone else do on Facebook , we will be here about 6 months although we love the touring and meeting up with friends, it's lovely when your home.

It's like our real world and our other life normal living in a nice little town, a different lot of friends, some live here others we met on the campsite over the years, anyone that spends winter on campsites will know all about that.

So back to the pushing to get it booked for next year we have nine weeks booked but it's so annoying when repeat customers want to come back and we have it already booked, but you have to take every opportunity.

I will be missing Pat this year, I was getting to like the gin and tonics in the afternoons I was getting to the stage when I was quite looking forward to you lot going walking.

HI Trev, we always stayed and prefer Camping Javea, but we have friends that prefer Camping Naranjal the biggest problem is getting on one of them in the winter.

Oh dear hope they are not all like that, is that why there is such a demand for wheelchair friendly apartments here, we have a Dutch couple coming next year she has a wheelchair but she can get around without it.

Do you think we should put a sign on the door ' NO WHEELCHAIRS ' and supply a lock and chain. Bob.

Hi!

Did you enjoy the thunderstorm yesterday ?. Was quite spectacular.

Sun was soon back out as it will be today.

Ten years ago, camping pitches in javea were easily available.

I think we have plugged it well as it’s full now.

Yes enjoyed that it gave the motorhome a good wash, we had so much dust in Portugal this year, just got to do the inside now.

Too busy at the moment been shopping all morning, nice to see salmon a reasonable price this year in mercadona..........at the moment anyway.
Yes very popular at both campsites, our friends have got to make do with a small pitch and hope someone goes. Bob.
