It was warm/hot and sunny as I drove to the Portuguese/Spanish border and stopped overnight near Vila Formoso.

It was warm and sunny with a helpful tail wind (queue smutty jokes) and only a few minutes of rain as I drove the Salamanca, Valladolid and Burgos route to Miranda de Ebro for the second night.

A terrific, warm and mostly sunny trip from Miranda over the border, through the traffic jam of Biarritz, to within 200 kms of Toulouse.

A superb drive today in wall to wall sunshine, Mont Marsan to Balma.

But if the weather forcasts report differently, so be it!
