Replaced all the wiring (240v) and the Water heater. It was rotted out. Some kind ebayer in the States shipped me another.
A lot of work around the original vehicle electrics and fuel system.
Bought a propane gas conversion kit with a huge fuel tank.
This winter's project.
Just sourced an original pair of rear light units (I hope)
Parts availability are like Hens teeth.
She ripped apart the transmission propshaft uj and yoke the last time out so getting new parts made/ shipped from the States.
Trying to keep it as original as possible but very difficult.
Regards Steve.

Hi Snelly,
Where are you.
I,m very near Lincoln.
Many thanks all for the warm welcome.
The "Beast" broke a propshaft yoke and bearing the last run out so waiting for another to get here from the States.
Just heard it's here so going to fit at the weekend.
Also found a manufacturer that can still supply brand new rear light clusters.
You can sense the excitement I'm sure, as I thought these were as rare as hen's teeth.

Hi American Dream and welcome to our site......
I have sympathy for you with your old boy / girl, I have done loads of stuff to our RV and know some of the problems matey ::bigsmile:
Linda at stateside tuning is always very helpful and can sometimes come up with answers to the impossible :roflmto: She also has a vast network of people who can get just about anything from anywhere and get it over here very quickly, Linda also offers a discount to members, which is always welcome ::bigsmile:
In conclusion I can thoroughly recommend her for RV bits and hope this helps....
We live in Kettering, by the way, so not a million miles away from you and we also have other members who live close to Lincoln, so hopefully, once you have a propshaft again, we can meet up somewhere nice ::bigsmile:
Looking forward to it already ::bigsmile:
Any questions that you may have, just post them here and we will try to answer them for you.......

Hi Keith,
Many thanks for the info.
I have already used Stateside for some of the parts recently and will continue to do so.
Some good news.I've just picked up a brand new yoke (Didn't think I could get one as so many people were going to source from Breakers Yards etc) and U/J and she should be on the road again after this weekend, luck and weather permitting.

I like a challenge and this rig is living up to that.

See you all soon.

Steve.
