I'm going round in circles looking for a weigh bridge in North West Leicestershire. We're near loughborough, and the county website is no help. Does anyone know of one? I thought I might weigh empty before I start packing, as the MH is completely empty for once.

I use the builders merchants in melton, name escapes me

William hercock, off the dalby road....I usually go when they open on a Saturday, park outside, go in and tell them what you need
Easy drive

I’ll give them a call. (I’m never quite sure what’s open atm!). Thank you.

Enderby recycling centre has a weighbridge. I think you currently need an appointment.
On second thoughts that might be in lockdown area. Adjacent to M1 junction 23 at Shepshed there is a very large animal feed mill next door to the truck stop, they used to do weightings. If I think of company name I'll post it.

GLW Feeds. Ashby Rd. Shepshed. 01509 501801. Can't promise but give them a try.

Under 'weights and measures'

and so they are. You’d have thought a search would bring that up, wouldn’t you!? I shall try and find one that doesn’t need an overnight stop!

whetstone refuge tip has a weighbridge they have weighed my van for free if no print out.
But if you want a full print out of your weights i think it is £7 if my memory is correct.

If you don't mind me asking, where in Market Harborough. TIA.
Not at all. All the details are attached. We used to be able to just turn up, but might different since Covid. I seem to remember it was about £7 including the printout.

Many thanks for that, I regularly drive past there and never thought of checking, just blindly used places miles away by past habit.

We have had no trouble there, with our previous van a tag axle, or the current one, with towing the car on a trailer. Gave us a ticket for the van (both axles) and one for the trailer.

Aha, I've found one. Its about half a mile from my house, and the local feedstore in Battram (which we go to all the time for animal food!) I don't think it could actually be any closer.

The van garage doing the tyres recommended it. Thank you to everyone for their suggestions, I'll keep them in mind.

Wellington do you have the postcode or address, I’m on the outskirts of Coalville and usually travel down to the recycling yard at whetstone. This one would be very convenient.
Thanks
Darren

I don’t have the postcode, but it’s at SLB feed store in battram. The weigh bridge is round the back (on the way to the fishing lake) they are really helpful.
