Fancied the look of the Weber but from what I see on t'interweb it is for use with a disposable gas cartridge, anyone know if you can use it of the vans gas point?

Thanks, but that appears to show it with a cylinder regulator, the "caravan" hose type hook up is what I was thinking off, is it the case that the regulator on my under-slung tank works at the right pressure? Just being a bit cautious as its gas!

More than toes wet now!
Maybe I'm misreading, misunderstanding or just missing but says the regulator only fits camping gas (Campingaz?) 901 and 904 cylinders.
Does it say this can be replaced by an alternative?

I looked at this problem and found you could get a special adaptor and hose but it was extremely expensive. The problem I think is the current weber model doesn't use a hose, the cannister screws directly into the side of the bbq so you need an adaptor which mimics the top of the gas cannister.

Something like this, although currently unavailable.

I wouldn't worry about gas pressures, it's a BBQ!

Getting there!
Does it not come with a hose and camping gaz regulator? Can you cut off the Reg and fit a barb connection for lpg?

How about a Cadac Safari?
Folds up really small
Cooks great food

Maybe worth a look?

Ah. ok. Its just the instruction manual I link to above shows a hose and a camping gaz regulator as standard, the small throw away bottle in your picture seems to be the option?

I had one very similar years ago. Whilst it was quite good whilst it lasted the cheap tin that it's made out of soon rusted out and that was after replacing the burner which also rotted out in short order.

Whilst I am a Cadac fan I don't regard it as a BBQ, more of an outside cooker.

I won't buy any BBQ nowadays unless the tub and lid are made of aluminium and spare burners are readily available otherwise they seem to become 1 season use only then throw away and its not because I leave them outside 'cos I don't.
