Hello All!
I hope you can help. I'm fitting a Webasto 2000 ST into my van I'm planning on asking a garage to connect the fuel supply but I wanted to do the rest of the work myself.
The electrical connection for the fuel pump comes out of the combustion air intlet, there was no plug on the wires and both wires are black and unidentifiable. The wires on the pump itself are colour coded. How can I be sure which one to match up, I assume being DC polarity is important but there is nothing on the wiring diagram to indicate this.

Has anyone fitted a Webasto and knows whether this is a problem for me?

Thanks!
Michael

The Webasto dosing pump is simply a solenoid.
Solenoids are not polarity sensitive. They become a magnet whichever way you connect them!
