We have been looking for a dog for a while and yesterday we were on the water front at Littlehampton, and spoke with a couple who had a miniature Jack Russell. We exchanged contact details and last night he emailed with details of 4 puppies. We went out today and bought Albert. That is what we decided to call him. Born on 11th August we should have him home in about 5 weeks.

Lovely little Pup

You cannot beat a Jack Russell, we ended up buying one and the sister to keep him company.
They are 12 now so slowed down a bit😁

People go out to pay good money for trouble and noise?

Give me a gun dog any time.

Albert will keep you busy until he sobers up. I dread having to call time on our old mutt. He is having problems with his back legs, his eyes sight isn’t good and he has the occasional nightly oops. All said he is happy to spend his days dozing alongside us were ever we are.
A guy that walks his dog at the same time as me has just taken on a rescue dog. It is a pug cross, maybe Jack Russel. It is a bag of nerves and took an instant dislike to me and muttly. If it’s like our three rescue dogs it will settle down with a bit of love and care.

What a great day to have a birthday. He's a Leo so will be strong brave and loyal 🐶

I am so please for you and Albert, all dogs repay kindness and love manifold, but Jack's take it to the nth degree, thanks for sharing you good fortune's (y)

This was our little Jack Russell she was named Scrumpy, we lost her 4 years ago at the age of 15 and 3 months, we now have a 4 year old Cockapoo called Roxy.

John.

Beautiful, I lost Rosie at 14yrs, stroke, worst day of my life, felt like a traitor when I told the vet to send her on .

Someone we know, went to buy an English Pointer. They picked out the one they wanted, and said he'd be called Frank.
They eventually got to collect the dog when he was ready. Trouble was they are convinced the dog they collected is not the one they originally picked.

So, they now call him Not Frank

Why not Frankly ?

He is complete, at least for now. There will be a time 🐕😟
Don't you DARE let them chop his tail off! Seriously it's illegal unless he is an actual working dog so if they are doing it for 'show' they are just being cruel, I think it also has to be done by a vet too, not a breeder themselves.

When we got our Lily, a Patterdale Terrier, she was 5 months old so had already been docked, I wish I had got her when she was a puppy so she still had her tail, although saying that our Tazzy used to love chasing her and biting her stump to annoy her.
