Now that brings back memories! I remember swimming in the sea at Collioure about 40 years ago. It was around March/April and the locals thought we were mad swimming in the sea so early in the season. Having been brought up swimming in the North Sea in October, I had no such reservations

The sea was warm in June as was the Atlantic in July even the channel wasn't bad either , Though we have been going to Collioure since our honeymoon in 1991 only missed a few years when I was really ill
