The Funster marquee was a godsend, so thank you very much for the tea! I was feeling pretty grim at the time so it was good to be able to sit for a while and watch the world go by while letting the painkillers take effect. Good to put at least two faces to forum names.

I didn't make it to the fun camping area, but was near enough to spend most of my time with other funsters and join in last nights partying.

The sun gods smiled. About time too.

What was a pleasant surprise was Newbury. Around the canal it seemed quite like Stratford and that is praise indeed.

What was just plain astounding was just how many vans were there. Talk about "nice little earner". Some serious money changed hands and one FUNster said to me "just think what that lot are worth".

I'd love to know how many vans and how many were packed in to watch the excellent Saturday evening entertainment.

Went looking for a solar panel for our van on Saturday, was given some great advice. Bought a great one, but it's attached to a tag axel swift kontiki 659.

Me and the bitch met a lot of new funsters, and as always it is the company that makes these meets so pleasurable.
