Van Conversion
Exp
Been around the block a few times😉
I wish to buy a chemical loo as the one we got with the conversion although it fits nicely

In the cupboard as designed is probably too small.

We've bought a Outwell drive away awning so could put the loo if needed in there.

What loo would you recommend ? Hopefully it will never get used but!!

Thanks.
Thetford Ecellence seems to be the better choice.

A spade to dig a hole? Otherwise, some sort of portaloo if you want to invite Royalty. A bucket lies somewhere between on the aesthetic scale. They all look the same in the dark.

May not smell the same...

You might not always have your awning up so make sure it fits somewhere inside.

Yip.. Thetford.. Porta-potty... just the job..
we still have one for going on the occasional camping trip.. also have a nylon toilet tent, which would give you more privacy than an awning..

have a look on Pre-loved, eBay, Gumtree..

Thanks guys.
The awning has a separate bedroom so we plan to use that as a "bathroom" going to have a look at one today probably get one with a manual flush rather than electric.
Jim good point on the smaller toilet tent(y)

the good think about the toilet tent , no groundsheet.. so no worries about splashes or dribbles..

True story.. I was sat on it one evening, after dark.. when a car pulled into the site , the headlights shone straight at me.. I thought it was going to run me over.. no doubt the silhouette gave them a laugh ....
