Plan to give MH exterior a good coat of something to cope with the winter blues. I normally use autoglym polish and products on my cars but is there something more specialist for motorhome exterior bodywork? Don't mind spending to get good results?

I've done away with all the fancy polishes for my bikes, cars and moho. I now use cans of domestic furniture polish, cheap and very effective. Many beer vouchers saved; HUSSAR!

So a few cans of pledge from Poundland will do the trick?

Polish and wax are totally different. To remove minor defects and swirl marks use a polish. Then use a wax to protect the surface. Not a fan of Autoglym SRP, it may look good for 24hrs but that's it.

Pledge? No need for such profligacy! I bought a can of Aldi hoos polish today for I think 69p. I use it on my Ducati and I love her more than the wife! If its good enough for ma baby its good for the bus all day long.

Two years in and the ceramic coat still makes the vehicle look new and shiny no polishing or waxing has been required 😎👍

Well on our Hymer it really made it dull and a terrible finish I like to use the stuff specific to fibreglass, Meguiars, 3M or Starbrite. They give a quality finish to fibreglass
I used some 3m gel coat restorer then auto Glym then wax and it has come up nicely👍
