Water tap "weeping " at base (1 Viewer)

Hi ,
the kitchen water tap in my Burstner is "weeping" from the base but only when using the tap.
I've had a look & it seems to have a cartidge with a special O ring , does anybody know if I have to replace the complete tap or just the cartridge and if poss wheres the best place to get them ??

never had this type of tap but i believe you just replace the cartridge.

apparently they do crack and start to leak.

google the cartridge for suppiers. :thumb:

I had similar with my kitchen mixer tap, and it was the cartridge. A word of caution - make sure you get the exact cartridge type - the bathroom ones (though mixers) can be different. Mine are anyway, something the van supplier didn't apparently realise when he sent me the wrong spare.
