Can anyone please advice me where I could find a stainless steel plug for my fresh water tank, bought one previously, sadly started to rust has anyone bought one recently?appreciate your thoughts

Make sure that the bung won't make the water taste, some rubber ones can, so see if there are specifical 'food grade' ones.

Someone mentioned nylon cord was good to use?

When I needed one, found a good adjustable plug from a chandlery. Not the cheapest but ensures a good fit.
