Water still in drain pipes in bathroom (1 Viewer)

i was cleaning the bathroom in the motorhome and noticed that there was water in the drain away outlets. I can see it sitting there. But when you drain the tank nothing comes out. I assume it shouldn't be there but wondered how to get rid of it?

I would think that'll be in the equivalent of your P trap at home,stops the smell coming up from the tank.

That is normal. If the van is left for some time without use, the water in the traps will dry out. Occasionally I pour a little water into them to keep them effective at stopping any odour coming back into the van. This is also sometimes necessary if you have been traveling in a mountainous area with lots of ascents and descents.
