Just like to share this recent experience I had.
A few days ago I cleaned out the fridge in the MH. I inadvertently left all the power on in the van. The temperature dropped over night to -1c and of course the dump valve open and dumped all the water. I didn't check the van for two days. When I did the water pump was still running but not making the normal sound. A quick test and no water was being pumped through the tapes. I thought I had burned the pump out. A quick trip to my local MH garage thinking I was going to be in for a new pump. He quickly checked it, checked the filter and connections, saw one had come loose. Tighten it up and I'm back in business. He didn't want to charge me but I gave him something for a drink.
