Hi,
we have just got ourselves a Mercedes Sioux Auto-Trail 1987 MH. It is great is apart from one thing. The water worked yesterday great and now it wont come out. The pump comes on but no water comes out of the taps. We have tried opening all the taps incase of an air lock, just dont know where else to look before we get an engineer.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

is there water in the tank? been there ,has it leaked out the drain tap. ?sometimes you have to only open one tap n suck on it to start it going.

If it worked before as vwalan says most likely run out of water.

Refill your tank check that the drain valve is closed you'll soon see if its open just look under the van if not a try the pump again just open one tap ,allow time for it to come through.

If the pump still doesn't work then locate the pumps position and check that the pipes are not kinked and are secured.

Most pumps are self priming whilst other may need priming,perhaps you could let us know the make you have?
