Hi can anyone give us any advice we are up in Mull and noticed overnight the pump would come on occasionally for a couple of seconds after reading the threads on here I looked for any leaks sadly I found one the picture is after I cleaned up the water and tried pushing the pipes together, can I break the connections clean them and put them back together or are they one time use only never used this type of pipe before ? And if I turn off pump do I have to drain the tank ?, I have checked internet and it doesn’t look like any spares or repairs on Mull so don’t won’t to make it any worse, we are heading up to Loch Ness from here on Tuesday, appreciate any advice cheers tom

Yes you can push the collet in and pull the pipe out

Ditto above. We had the same after the winter shutdown when cleaning and refilling fresh water system. Simple job of switching off the water pump on the control panel, pulling the offending joint apart quick wipe with cloth, reassemble and all was fine. We experienced the same issues with our previous Adria ( intermittent pump during the night) never did find the offending leak. I was told by someone it could simply be due to leaving the hot water on and expansion

There's a small rubber o-ring inside the connection that can sometimes get a bit nipped. Often reconnecting reseats the o-ring properly and problem solved.

I have been talking to two people recently that own fairly new Adria motorhomes and both have had leaks with these fittings. I have bought some John Guest fittings to keep in the motorhome “just in case” It would appear the the fittings used by Adria are of a poor standard.

If your worried switch the pump off at night or away from your Moho and release a bit of pressure by opening and shutting a tap, this will release any pressure in the system 👍

If you are on any of the Adria Facebook groups you will see it’s a very common failing. The fittings can be used again but they are rubbish. The leaks on mine have always been on hot pipes and when the hot water is on. I believe the main failing is the lack of pipe inserts on hot pipes. If you are replacing it use John Guest fittings with pipe inserts. Get yourself a few spares too, you will probably need them.
Tees, 90 degree elbows, straight couplings, stem elbows are the common ones. You might know this bit.

That looks like a tee with one stem joining a 90 degree stem elbow. Not sure you will get a 12mm John Guest replacement for the tee. You may need to get creative

If it’s the lack of inserts causing the problem then it won’t be the stem elbow as they can’t have inserts fitted from my knowledge.

Yeah you’re right. I’m also pretty sure that is the cold feed to the boiler as the white fitting is a one way valve.
