I have occasionally had some water get into the garage of our 660. Not much and not often but after some heavy rain showers last week found more than normal. So after a bit of investigation with a hosepipe found where is is getting in. The frame seal around the door aperture has a gap at the bottom which is covered by an aluminium inverted U section. It appears that water pools at the bottom of the frame and then finds it's way over the lip of the aperture through this gap. Before I remove the aluminium U section (and risk distorting it) I wonder if anyone has found anything similar and whether this section is easily removable.

I can’t fathom out that design, is there not a lip/step when looking at the door opening from the outside?
So that water runs back out? It could be me not seeing it or understanding the design properly though.

This is our door from the outside, water runs straight back out.

Yes very similar to that. But I think the high winds we had with the rain may well have pushed the water "uphill". It was either that or the wife didn't shut the door properly!(but that never happens does it!).
