Water leak on turnab le filler spout Chausson anybody had this problem? (1 Viewer)

Hi filled up with water , filled until water came out of spout , ( big mistake ) hour or 2 later noticed carpet we , took out dinet seat swabs, took out water tank board cover only to discover it was not leaking ther , so I looked in drop down hatch outside and discovered leak at spout swivel joint tightened gland big nut , still seeped water , anybody got a fix please I am going to take it to bits probably but as it is a plastic tank I don't know what sealant will stick any ideas please.

think I ve seen the type of fill you are on about on the new chansons and seen a post about a similar problem...
as you said probably just overfilled and the spout joint isn't designed to be submerged..
as mentioned ...a photo might help...
