When filling water system it is coming.ing straight back out of my grey waste pipes can anyone advise please

hi welcome, so to get this clear... you have a hose in the fresh water filler and its coming straight out of the grey waste drain.

could it be coming out of the fresh water tank drain as the plug is out?

I have checked the valve and it isn't open don't know what you mean by plug the water has worked fine for 3 days up until today

Have checked tank valve inside and this is closed .taps have been working gor last 3 days until today when trying to fill with water

That's an unusual one. When you fill with water you fill the fresh tank. The only way to get that water into the grey pipe is to open a tap on the sink or shower and run water down one of the sink drains. Its more likely the water is coming out of the fresh water overflow or a leak near the grey outlet. Have you had a good look underneath

Pipes? Is it coming out of more than one?
As already said, the only way that fresh water can enter your grey tank is first via a sink, basin or the shower.

Is it perhaps coming from the water heater drain tap?

i cant see how this is possible.... there is something obvious here thats going to easily explain this..

if the fresh water tank has its drain fitted correctly and water is being put into the tank through the fresh water filler cap then the only way for it to get out is an overflow from the fresh tank / filler cap or via the taps to waste tank. there is no other option

Our M/home has a valve to dump freshwater to reduce the volume to 20 litres for travelling to minimise payload consumption. On;y used it a couple of times, but when I do, the fresh water being dumped runs down the outside of the grey water pipe! So, if I empty the grey water tank and open the fresh water drain concurrently, I get an internal pipe drain of grey water and an outside of the same pipe drainage of the fresh water! It's bizarre!

Worth checking if you have the same arrangement and whether the fresh water valve is set to dump anything in excess of 20 litres

The drain of fresh water system has been designed to use the outside of the grey water pipe, it's very simple but ingenious! I looks like a twin fountain but going the wrong direction ...
