Thanks.

Reason its slowwwwww filling I drop the water hose direct into the tank to fill.

I suspect that the hose between your original inlet and tank may be as small as 12mm bore, if so fitting on tank will also be 12mm.

The new fitting might be 30mm bore and will need a tank fitting to suit.

So job may entail fitting a new inlet to tank as well.

Also, is inlet above tank, with original system inlet on van could be below tank inlet as water will run uphill under pressure in small pipe.

So not a simple swop then.

The pipe work at the rear looks bigger than mine just had a look, so ummmmmmm!

With the original you can leave the fresh water connected all the time. As long as your not driving. Got that in before someone else did😂😂

I’ve just had a gravity fill put in at Auto-Sleepers, as the Whale system imo just wasn’t fit for purpose.
World of difference, the Whale system even with filter removed took ages to fill due to the narrow pipe work, gravity system takes about 8 minutes (91 litre tank)

Any details?

once I got it working it was still too slow, so when Auto-Sleeprs opened last week I still had them fit a gravity fill.

It just works

If it is possible to fit the larger bore pipe, you can promote yourself from a motorised caravan to a motorhome.

If you do change the inlet, get a Heos filler cap with a hose adapter built-in, so you can just click a hose onto it. Swap it with the locking cap when full.

I already have a Heos filler cap from my last van just need to find a way around changing the crap filling point and pipe work.

Bear in mind of the size of the spigot at the water tank , the water Flow rate will always be limited by the narrowest point
