Is yours a late AutoTrail with this type of filler.what is the best funnel for filling an autotrail fiat apache motorhome
Tried one of them last year borrowed off another Funster, what a pain, it's so much quicker with a bucket & funnel. We don't have the same van but have found a universal water filler which hasn't failed us or others - yet

Excellent option. You can’t beat a good old watering can. Tried and tested for many years. We don't have the same van but have found a universal water filler which hasn't failed us or others - yet

I always managed to wet myself when using a bucket
I can print something to help with that.I always managed to wet myself when using a bucket
I have the collapsible sort with my own adaption, preferable to a funnel as the additional pipe allows for a full bucket from the tap without overspill through the shortish spout provided. 16mm food grade pipe from a pond shop, about a foot long and it curls up with the collapsed bucket and then goes easily into the filler hole.Excellent option. Some people though like to use those collapsible buckets (including me) that take up less room. That’s where my little funnel works well.

No 80mm is the size to fit in the cap recess on my HymerI used the same on my Autotrail for years.now using in on the Burstner. Best 40p I spent on the van
Not sure on the size 80mm seems a bit big..
Only problem is you need a hand to hold it, leaving you only one hand for your bucket. Unless you tie it up with string.View attachment 649348 I used similar to this, had it years, think I got ours off ebay.
If you push it into the hole, it supports itself, no need to hold it, at least it has done on my vansOnly problem is you need a hand to hold it, leaving you only one hand for your bucket. Unless you tie it up with string.
Job done.If you push it into the hole, it supports itself, no need to hold it, at least it has done on my vans
Inspired by Manic I went to a well known diy store and got one of these. It’s the end of a downspout. the flared end fits really snuggly round the water filler. Almost purpose made! Only looses a very small amount of water that didn’t make it down the filler tube when removing it. i haven’t bothered with a breather tube. Works great. Thanks Manic!Don’t know what you filler is like but I use this 80mm elbow.
