Fiat Ducato Sea AHor
Hi, New to the motorhome world.
Picked up a 2005 Fiat Ducato SEA AHORN a week ago and now that i have got round to trying things out the water pressure on all taps seems very poor.
I measured it at 1L in 35seconds on the kitchen tap, hot and cold, bathroom taps are equally slow.

checked the pump voltage and reads 13.5v (IIRC) at while running on hookup. water seems clean so dont think there are any blockages.

Is the pump likely bad or is this the expected flow rate on a motorhome?

Thanks James

Don't know how your going to use the van but six people and their belongings may take you over the maximum weight 🙁

I didnt look tbh. Just saw it had MOT and thought thats would be fine 🧐

There are only two adults and a 3 year old so payload is fine i think
Sales guy told me it was 2.8t unloaded so 700kg spare i believe?

Ah that old one 'the salesman said', the only way to be sure is to take it to a weighbridge before you put anything in rather than rely on a salesman 👍

Not the aerators on the taps clogged with limescale,if they've got them!

Yes that should fit.👍 Have you checked the pipework from pump to tank for a blockage?
Great, ill order that then and see if it helps. Doesnt seem to be anything blocking the pipe. Its only a short throw away and the clear filter part is very clean.

If there are no restrictions I can't see how the flow can be deminished other than the pump running slow (motor failing) or the internal valves not seating fully allowing water passing back through the valves

Didn't think the taps etc were blocked as they all are slow. I therefore thought of pipe from tank to pump😉 I would think a 20 psi pump would give plenty of flow but it must be on its way out,so the 30 psi will be good 👍
