Only used Aquaroll when I was a tugger. In our case, I wouldn't consider Aquaroll because of the amount of space it takes but as I said, have used but not in Moho

I carry an aquaroll at SWMBO insistence, though I doubt I have used it more than a couple of times a year. I only leave it in because it takes up a lot of space which otherwise she would fill with something heavier and probably even less useful.
I use a bucket and a watering can if I can't get to a service point.

Aquarolls and waste carriers are for Tuggers, we were for years, now we are free, use the watering can, carry the bucket, freedom!

Edit, for the record we rarely stay in one place long enough to use the bucket, dumping when we move off site.

Horses for courses territory, but I wouldn't go the aquaroll/wastehog route due to the space required. We have a 10m hose, 2x10L freshwater containers and a 20L grey water container and waste hose which cover most needs. We also have a fold up trolley which can be handy.

Do you not have fresh and waste-water tanks on board? Should last you for about five days after which I'm sure you can get to a water point and or grey waste drain. Water hose is obviously a must and a watering can to top up in an emergency. No point carrying loads of expensive and unnecessary gear. Have a good time.

I use a 10 litre plastic container with built in spout for fresh water and a Fiamma roll along for the waste.

Wastemaster and 25l fresh water jerrycans from Halfords. The fresh water containers can be put on the wastemaster and attached with bungee cords which makes water easy to transport. And 25 l is easier to lift to get to the fresh water inlet than a 40l round Aquaroll.

Yes we have on-board tanks, 120 ltrs. FW and 90 ltrs. waste. Rarely have more than 40 litres in FW tank and waste tank is emptied at every chance.

Well I don't know about you lot but my Motorhome has 4 wheels and an engine, I find it easy to drive to the emptying and fill up points.

If anyone wants them I do have a 40Lt Aquaroll & a Wastemaster for sale £20 each or £35 the pair collection from Lancing, West Sussex.

Like others above I have used both bits of kit and good they were but now I am no longer a tugger it just dose not apply. I carry a reserve 10 litre of clean water a watering can and a shrinking hose.

Bailey owner and I use both ( waste and fresh carriers ) on most trips , love the flexibility that they afford . If you carry and use em then storage is not a problem .

We have an older version of one of these with a sort of upside down curved spout

The new ones have a flexible spout which is even better. Also have a 10m, 5m and 2m hose with a variety of connectors. Can normaly manage about 3-5 days before waste needs emptying.

In answer to the original question. Yes I had Aquaroll when I had a caravan. Unless parking motorhome on a caravan site for a fortnight there is no point in having them hence I haven't looked into their effectiveness

Long time
With a fresh water tank & a grey water tank who needs an aquaroll & wastemaster they're just a waste of space.
We have a long and a short hose (short hose is ideal on Aires in France)
And we have a bucket, we also have a section of large bore hose to empty grey in case we can't get close enough to grey drain!
Aquaroll & wastemasters are for caravans!

I use a Wastemaster/Wastehog which is great for carrying the toilet cassette to the dump, point. I have a minor disability (gammy leg) which makes carrying heavy items difficult so the wastemaster is a real boon. For fresh water I use a couple of hoses joined together if distance to tap is too long for one on its own. If plotted up qand cant be bothered to drive to the tap I have a pair of 10 litre plastic cans which I normally keep filled as backup.
If I didnt have plenty of garage space I would ditch the Wastemaster and one of the 10l cans.

We have an aquaroll - it lives nicely in the shower when we're travelling. Its a pretty essential bit of kit for us to top up the tank if we don't feel like moving, or the tap is in an awkward place or it doesn't have a hozelock connector - but that's because our Bailey has a Whale water inlet thingie so using a normal hosepipe or a watering can isn't an option for us.

We don't carry a waste carrier, just empty the grey tank at every opportunity even if there's not much in it. We have that found a length of black flexible pipe which fits over the waste outlet to direct the waste water comes in handy when there isn't a proper drive over drain though.

I have always poo pooed the use of watering cans, and had a variety of hoses and connecters but last year after seeing many on here promoting the use of cans, I tried one , and really have changed my opinion of them , with hoses you tend to wait until your tanks are empty to make it worthwhile getting the hoses out and connecting and stuff , where with a can you can just saunter up to any tap and put a can full in any time you see water, hoses are out now , just the can for us now(y).
And as for grey well as many have said , just drive over an emptying thingy or a bucket, simples!

Auarolls (and the like) are good for collecting large quantities of water but you need a pump to transfer it out. I’d avoid a carrier that was translucent because sunlight encourages microbes to grow.

We hardly ever need to collect or dump water by hand but we do have a watering can and bucket for the odd occasion. A dedicated watering can (or two) is a very practical solution. Filter or boil your drinking water and you will be fine.
