Previously we would tether a laptop to my mobile phone and streem UK TV this way as the satellite has given up at Xabia. However the BBC mob now stop this as they know where you are. I believe there are services you can use to hide your location. Which is the best? and do I install it on the phone, the laptop, or both?

"as the satellite has given up at Xabia. " - you need at least a 100x110cm dish for a stable signals for most of the UK TV channels in Xabia. Larger if you want BBC and ITV HD content.
But via mobile and stream, you will need either a VPN or Smart DNS service. But these can be very specific, and what works for one person and their equipment and networks, may not work for you and your equipment and networks.
NordVPN and ExpressVPN and Smartdnsproxy seem to be popular ones to use.

Hi Clive. Ive tried loads over the years. For me, NordVPN seems to the the service that has consistent streaming speeds. (y)

Nord VPN or express VPN as said above. You can usually get 1 month free trial of you only need it for a short while.

You can install it on up to 5 devices usually. Then just choose where you want to be.

However, if you use a UK SIM ou shouldn't need it. We spent 2 months in Italy using UK Sims and streamed all UK channels without issue.

Are you in a motorhome or house ?

We have Freesat at our house in Xàbia (Javea). It’s okay, until the earths axis changes or the weather. Could do with a bigger dish really. My neighbour has a 2m dish.

We have teletec fibre, but can’t work out how to use a VPN with it.

I use smartdns at home and find it great as you do not have to run any programs on you equipment.

But had lots of problems trying to use it with a mobile network, for it to work you have to register your current ip address on there website, at home that is fairly consistant, now and again you have to logon and re-register it if it changes, but mobile networks seem to change it every five minutes.
There is a method where you can setup your own domain name for free, then it should update automatically, but I could never get it to work properly.

Have a look at smartdns for your fibre, you just have to setup an account with them, then change the network settings on your equipment to point to their servers, there are good instructions on the website.
