Been watching the figures with interest over the past 3 months.
Usually hovering about the 200 mark... However dropped dramatically weekly until 3 weeks ago hit 77?
They are rising again thankfully giving rise to an indication of normality returning.
177 tonight.

OH SORRY. THE NUMBER OF LATHES FOR SALE ON GUMTREE!!!! 3 Months figures. ;)

You'll be turning this into a Left Hand Thread next!!

Then we would all be well and truly screwed, but at least it will be from a different direction this time!

Lefthand threads can be very important. During WW2 the Aircrew were provided with a special button on their uniform. Should they be shot down they could unscrew the button head and inside was a compass. The Germans found out about this so confiscated them. As a result they were changed to lefthand threaded button heads and the Germans did not realise it and thought we had stopped handing the compass buttons out.

As a left hander, and over 1.82 metres tall fella, I can affirm that not only is the world biased against Lefties, and, by the number of times I've wacked me head on the doorway of Maureens studio today, the world is also built for shortarses.

Iā€™ve been looking for the past few weeks, so far not found anything.
Had a Myford in the past but fancy trying a modern Chinese hobby lathe.

Did you watch Guy Martin on D-Day yesterday as well:giggle:?

Yup. I did know it as I also remember the story about fake Camel Dung. There was a tendency for the Germans to have a laugh by driving through Camel dung deliberately. That was until the Alies laid fake camel dung land mines.
