Take it Plumb Center or similar, they should be able to find something to fit it.

cheapest source I have found for 1 inch bore and above plastic waste fittings is a pond shop

Bart, maybe you shouldn't worry about a new valve as I believe these are normally left open anyway.......;)

See the 1 inch part is where I got lost .. as it's 32mm pipe . So where does the 1 inch come onto it.. is that the thread?

@TheBig1-shurely you mean the Pound shop?:)
If you can find a 1 inch gatevalve in a pound shop, you go for it. My local pond and aquarium specialist shop stock all manner of large bore water pipes cheap, but nowhere near a quid each. About quarter the cost of going to a motorhome spares company because its not being sold for a leisure vehicle

Sorry; I was being flippant. I realised you meant a shop that sells pond perquisites. I'll close the door on the way out.....

Thanks man , i already have 1 of the brass ones , but my problem is that it is male and the plastic pipe end is male , so i was not sure what connector to buy to use it , also though while i was there i would be best changing the valve to plastic , same as original ?

Living the dream.
Another problem I encountered was that the 32mm bore went down quite a lot to about 18/20mm which is useless. Another place to try is a swimming pool installers/supplier. The pipe work in the plant rooms is quite large bore.

yes that would work, but again you will need to make the joint up with ptfe tape

I notice you have a Bessacarr.

Is This what you need? Remove the straight plastic piece and screw the valve onto your pipe?

That looks like the job , but its expensive enough :D i have a 1" screw gates valve i might try that 1st to see if i can get used to that valve,, if not then ill order the lever valve you linked

Thank you! :)

went down to my local plumbers merchant just before 4pm and took both the male ended valve and the male ended pipe ,, and he said there was nothing that you could get to connect them together,,
Yet my 1" gates screw valve with the female end screws ok onto the male end on the grey waste pipe ^^ ..... so thats what im gonna try now, ut id rather use my lever valve

The threaded plastic end with the hexagon on it looks as if it will unscrew from the end of the fitting marked KIWA on your first photo, allowing you to screw your male threaded valve into it.
The call it a 1" fitting because the bore will be nominally one inch diameter.

Does this one have the correct internal female thread , its listed as 1" , does that mean the female fitting is 1" or that the actual valve chamber is 1"

Select the 1" size
