Today, we made the most of the sunshine and gentle breeze...washing day! Does anyone else use their awning for drying their washing?

It looks worse that it is. Believe it or not but this rocky hill is in the middle of a sports ground.

Yes, and for drying my towel in the morning whenever possible. In fact it gets used more for that than it does acting as a sun canopy :(

Yes as well as other methods. See our laundry page on how we tackle the laundry issue.

Photo taken in Romania. No washing machine. All hand washed. It was a hot day and we celebrated with a swim in the pool at the campsite.

I find it far more convenient to use a laundry at a supermarket and most town have one too, washed and dry, sorted.

    I will mate.
I must add that I enjoy watching my barefoot wife "treading" the washing in a large "Trug".
    THAT's the romantic bit.
My contribution is putting up a washing line somewhere.
But, as she is a happy soul, its win win...
    Mitch. ;)

Tom Cruise is VERY short (like me) and probably wouldn't be able to see over the rim of the "Trug" when "treading" the washing.
Let me guess, he has a shower in his clothes ???
