Warwick Racecourse Travellers incursion.......

Just a quick ‘heads-up’ to any Funsters going to stay in Warwick.....
We’re at the C&MC site at Warwick Racecourse at present. The gate was padlocked when we arrived with a note to the effect that ‘owing to the activities of the GRT community’ please ensure that the main gate is secured after use....... The travellers moved onto the Jockey Club car park last week, and, with their 30 or so ‘vans, look as if they’ll be there until at least January 8th, as a court hearing held today has been rescheduled for 8th following representations from some of those ‘illegally occupying the car park’.

Edit:- Sorry, not ‘illegal’ but ‘unauthorised occupation’.......

Trespass can be a criminal offence so why are the trespassers not treated as the criminals that they are. Oh I forgot, it is only decent law abiding folk that have to pay the price.

And why do travellers need to stay anywhere longer than one night?
