In an 8 metre MH , we always get caught up in horrendous traffic in Newtown , TomTom does try and direct us around it but never trusted it enough to try it , is it possible to avoid ? Cheers .

Come off the a483 about a mile or two before newtown towards towards aberbechan, and follow the B4568 then take the B4569 to Caersws then head back to the A470 for the run down to llanidloes

Many thanks , I'll give that a whirl next week. I've just street viewed it and apart from a narrow bridge where you first turn off it looks an OK road . Thanks again , just as an aside why does that town get sooooo busy traffic wise ?

its a bit of a bottleneck for midlands traffic going to the coast and pain in the butt traffic lights that seem to have a mind of their own!

When we went through earlier in the year there was a lot of "marking out" work going on in the surrounding area. I think/hope they are finally building a bypass.
