Can't remember ;)
It's a new one to me so thought it worth mentioning :Smile:Lad across the road has just bought a 2008 reg tranny for his work . He stalled it then it would not start so bump started it.Now it would not start next morning so got mechanic out :thumb: who in turn had to get a ford technician out armed with a lappy.Says bump starting has caused it to need 4 new injectors @ £195 each and a sensor @£20 plus something else @£150 ll plus fitting :Eeek: ABOVE a £1000 for bump starting a van :Eeek: :Eeek:

we have a transit, but it is an auto so no bumping. But it shows how careful you have to be today, vehicles are not as simple as in days gone by. I now do very little work on vehicles even though I have a City & Guilds in motor vehicle repair and maintenance. When I trained vehicles were very simple, a hammer and an open ended spanner would fix most things::bigsmile:, now a computer and a lot of now how are required:Angry:
