Service & Glowplug warning lights, the engine thinks it needs a service & there could be an issue with the glowplugs & / or connectors

On some vehicles, including Fords, the glow plug light doubles as a general fault waring light as well.
Second that particularly if it's flashing. In VW cars it seems to be an intermediate alarm between everything OK and the engine management light. Ie we have problems but don't inconvenience yourself if you know what it mean.

My Vivaro would show up as that when the fuel bowl needed the water draining off.

But it was also the start of an issue with one of the valves EGR or similar.

Update, after a trip to the garage and the diagnostic machine it needed a new throttle body.
