Hi all.
Been a member for a while and think the site is great but not posted for some time. We are thinking about going back to Spain for a few weeks in November and early December but need to be back here for Christmas. Intend to spend a couple of days somewhere near the train on the coast just south of Barcelona (first time back there in many years after being attacked 3 times in one day by ‘bandidos’ on the autopsita just outside that city….). After that would like to move on southwards until it’s a bit warmer. Do not want to go too far south as we hope to go back to Spain and Portugal for longer early in 2022. Grateful for any recommendations for a couple warmish campsites (a week or so in each). My partner would like to have a few days in Benidorm (we used to stay in ‘La Torreta‘ - first stayed there in the early 1970’s - is it still going?).
Grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Costa brava and Barcelona won't be that warm plus your selection of campsites could be limited.
That time of year you really need to be south of Valencia 👍 why not straight to Benidorm. 😁
Either destination it's a long drive just for 2 weeks but doable .

Yes we are there now. I don't suppose the pitches have changed much but there's a lovely new pool and bar and UK television via UHF sockets dotted about. I've heard the site gets full over winter though.

Peñiscola has a few sites. We stayed at Los Piños (ACSI - 12 euros a night) . 4 km from town, 2-3 from a beach.

We stay at Peniscola aire, €6.80/night no electric but toilet emptying and fresh water. It's just a street away from the beach...

This one did include electric, really nice showers/toilets and reasonable WiFi though)...plus trees!

Go straight down the West coast route to Spain and you will reach Southern Spain.
Good luck.
There are routes on this site.
