...but battening down the hatches. The heater was installed this morning, so at least we are warm, but the wind is howling round and tonight I've bitten the bullet and paid to stay on a site for one night in Charmouth, rather than risk parking close to the sea in a storm. This will be the last time we come to Dorset until later in the year as Olympic madness will soon descend.

I joined the Camping and Caravan Club while we were away and stayed on a THS, which saved me £10, even including the membership fee.

Yes thanks.

It wasn't just me after all. It took an experienced fitter four hours due to incorrect parts with a weird thread having been fitted. Now the camper is really warm though.

know what you mean about olympic madness in dorset, as even my home town is a training base for a couple of national teams, who've been training for a while now. Thats why we go away in the van anywhere not connected to the o-so-limp-ics
