Still only a year after many years camping
You need to get rid of the mice pronto (there is rarely one on it's own).
If they get at your elecrics & wiring it can be a nightmare.
Just a thought, have you got problems with electrics?

Everything still working fine on ours. Much as I hate killing things (mice included), it really is the only way to deal with them. They'm varmints tha knows.::bigsmile:

So now we set two traps in the MH and are checking on it every week. We've had four this week, and hopefully will have no more.:thumb:

If you can power one Joy, a variable frequency deterrent is the way to go. we had a problem with mice in the house and in the vehicles parked just outside. We got a mains plug in humane deterrent which changes frequency regularly. I believe that constant frequency deterrents allow the little bas**rds to get used to the noise they hear but the variable keeps them off balance.
All I can say is we've not had any bother with mice for over 12 months.
Hope this helps. Good luck H&K

Otherwise just smash the little bas**rds!!

glue mats....i swear by them.

The mats dont kill the mice.....FEAR and exhaustion kills the little sods.

In my opinion, and that of many others too, electronic/sonic mice repellers dont work.

Mice will acustomise to the high pitched noise and become immune to it.

As others have said....they will nibble the wiring, including the 230v, even if its turned on.

Last year ihad to repair wiring to the hot air furnace, the aircon controllers and the heating thermostat.

Since then i had to repair the warm air ducts in various places where they had chewed their way out of the duct

On and off for many years.
When you do find where they are getting in put an onion there if you can. I know it sounds daft but we had mice in a larder and they avoided an area of about 6 inches around the onions. After that we put onions every foot along every shelf and never had a lot of problems with mice. I don't know if garlic would do the same job.

This thread had me scurrying (you see what I did there!) out to the van to reset our trap with a fresh blob of peanut butter, forgot to set it up again after Uttoxetor.

Keep the traps baited until you haven't caught anything for two weeks. I got 18 of the buggers in my garage last year and haven't had any since. Re-baited a couple of traps recently, just in case they try and come in from the cold . . .

Get a cat:Smile: but then cat sh_t is the worse thing ever.

As I said above. Remove all the cushions etc, get the cat and just sit quietly and watch the cat. It will let you know where they are then you can deal with them. The mice that I found in my old van were behind the glove box he found them.:thumb:

Joy,

We know you don't like harming living things, but they have to go.
That's GO, as opposed to being deterred or released into the wild in Africa.

The only sure way to achieve this is to set good traps that will kill the little sods quickly but surely.

Bite the bullet and get rid of them.

Edit:
There are recipes about, but not enough meat on them to bother with.
