I agree with all above. Carantec is a nice little village half an hour from Roscoff. Benodet and Morlaix are picturesque. Vannes is lovely. Also Quiberon.
There is a place called Huelgoet which has a walk through a wood with huge rocks.
You can't go wrong in Brittany if the weather is good.

Anywhere in Brittany is great. Drive round the coast with your All the Aires book and you can't go wrong. Concarneau is a pretty walled town, Saturday market at Josslyn, get lost on the coast around Carnac, St Aignon with walks along the Nantes Brest canal, close to Lac de Guerlidan, Abbye de Bon Repos, their Son et Lumiere in Sept is fantastic, Beg Meil, Benodet, Piriac, all worth a visit. Lovely beaches around Val Andre, so much to see, I suggest you get a good travel guide of the area, there's so much you could miss.

Of course, we are biased, we live here for half the year.

Dinan is an absolute must and we loved St Malo. Everytime we head to France we say we're going to visit Brittany more, but we end up getting drawn down south every time ! One day will get around to visiting Crozon, another must see if you like mediaeval history/art.

only reason peole begin to travel down further is the weather.....its a great area with much to offer but its westerly. We had 2/3 bad summers and that was it for us not been back. but might start again when Mrs Mental retires

If you like em, walk along the 'prom' past all the expensive restaurants with their white tablecloths and ice buckets, to the corner where there are stalls selling them at a fraction of the price,
Done both, but had one of the best (3hour!) lunches I've ever had in Concale, and also bought the biggest lobster I've ever seen in the market there, lovely jubbly.

It should be pointed out to you that the town parking in Dinan also involves driving through a very narrow gateway (that was too narrow for our Bessie) when coming from the south, in the ancient ramparts and the carpark itself had a 2m something height limit. The aire had used to be actually at the bottom of the hill. There are 3 ways of getting up there. Either the main road (avoiding the gateway) that went past the aire which takes a windy route so it's fairly long route by foot or near the aire, there are steps. There are a LOT of steps. It's a long way. Or if you walked right out of the aire by the bottom if the viaduct (downhill), go under it and carry on on the town side of the water opposite the newer hotels etc, you pass a few shops and then come to a narrow cobbled street, pedestrian only. Boy, its steep. However it is lined with little shops - sort of arty crafty touristy shops. You may well find the climb is well broken up by the shops since they are lady attractive, LOL

The aire closed shortly after we went about 3 or 4 years ago - access and egress were considered dangerous - and dunno if they even have one now? It did have a Petit Train to ferry folk up and down - but only operative in high season.

Rochefort en Terre is another mediaeval town in Brittany - same sort of commerce. Pretty! But again up a hill though not a ruddy precipice, this time!

Dinan was fantastic, aire there really cheap too, under the viaduct. Very slopey here and there but a few places not to bad with your chocks. Lots of interesting buildings, shops, has a harbour too. Also loved St Bernard roche, great aire/camping next to the harbour. Great if you have kayaks, but that was a stop off for us. Chartre wonderful, great stay there, used the muni campsite.

Yes must agree Dinan well worth a visit, we did it a few years ago but didn't use the aire.
Not sure where St Bernard Roche is ? some help needed to see if it's anywhere on our approximate tour, albeit subject to change at a minutes notice if we see or hear about somewhere worth visiting.

Check out Huelgoat on Google, especially if interested in geology. Don't have to be though, a lovely walk through a narrow valley with amazing rock formations. Need to be physically able.

We only encountered the village because we missed the aire. The aire was right at the end of the viaduct, just left down a hill. Massive motorhomes there so not too tight for most. We loved the walk up the hill, however, we are keen walkers and so that makes a difference I suppose. Will defo visit again. Funny thing was, I took a pic of a busker with an instrument, mate of mine took pic of the same man a decade ago !!!!
