Wanted - Aluminum 'U' extrusion (1 Viewer)

For my motorbike rack... I need a 'trough' as my steel one could carry a harley! (which I have not got)

Just weighed the rack alone, 60Kgs

My bike only weighs about 140kgs..

So I figure the main holding rail is about 40kg.. an ali one would be much less....


anyone got anything kicking around? length 194cm, width, anything over 13cm, height of sides, not an issue...

Ally extrusion that size would be very very expensive, the norm is to have ally cq plate folded to your diamentions, this company will cut,bend and fold to your requirements and post out to you, pretty cool on price too, click on any add and you will find phone number at the bottom, dont forget to state Cq pattern on the inside :thumb:

Hi John, I have one that we had for the scooters. It's 6' long and 5 3/4" wide or 183cm x 14.5 cm and it's Aluminum. If it's any good just give me a drink for it. We are in North Suffolk, or we will be at Peterborough Show next week and could take it if you are going. Bob. :thumb:
