I know there's lots of threads on here about the pros and cons of coffee machines for MHs. I'm looking for a small pod machine for ours. I'm not particularly bothered about the relative cost of the pods - we have a Tassimo at home so are used to paying a bit more for special coffee occasionally. Its the size I'm concerned about now so what are the smallest ones available? Also plastic water container rather than glass would be good.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

We have a tassimo at home and in the van. The one in the van is much smaller as it is a newer model. I tend to buy pods in bulk from costco.

We have a nespresso pixie in the van and I have a separate milk frother which I use for latte/cappuccino and hot chocolate. It's been in the bus for 2/3 years, travels in the cupboard and no issue

Another vote for Nespresdo pixie, needs pure sine wave to run it though, milk in microwave and areolatte to froth.

Can you leave a Nespresso out, or does it need emptied and stowed away when you move?

You could leave it out if you wanted, there might be the odd occasion that it hits you on the back of the head if you stop too quickly but you'll only do it once me thinks.

Seriously if it was left out I might want some sort of fixing on it, our goes in the cupboard.

Another vote for the Nespresso Pixie. We run ours through a 1500w inverter and as it heats the water as it goes through it doesn't take much out of the batteries as it's so quick.

We have a Dolce Gusto Piccolo. Reservoir not v big though we got a bigger one direct from D G website. Makes much nicer coffee to our taste than our sons Tassimo. We have a larger D G at home. We have been having capsules via Amazon subscribe and save which is much cheaper though they have just gone up quite a bit.

I get them on Amazon too.

I read a report about 4 months ago about the cost of coffee rising sharply so I bought a load of them at £8.99 for 50 coffee only pods.(y)

I know it's not a capsule solution but we use a Bialetti as it's small and used on the hob, can't remember the last time we had a 230v connection to run a Nespresso device.

PS: here's the capsule range at the shop down the road from us.

Lavazza do a small machine which uses Lavazza pods which is very good and can be bought at larger Tesco stores. Son has one and I reckon that the coffee is better than my Nespresso!

I do love Lavazza coffee!
