I'm a newbie
Recently retired, and wondering about how best to enjoy it...

......we are thinking about buying an elderly Ford Transit van conversion as our first venture - newer motorhomes are out of our price range, and we quite like the idea of learning as much as we can about:
  • what works and
  • what we need to know before we splash out
....you have to start somewhere, so I am afraid we will probably spend a fair bit of time asking for advice to start with.......

before we buy something, and head off......

w2f and you'll find several self builds on here and buckets full of advice but you'll need to lay out £15 to get more than a handful of questions.

Hello and welcome from West Midlands.

.... p.s. To get the most from the forum you will need to subscribe. It's well worth £15 and will allow you to continue posting as well as letting you into areas that non members can't access.

Hi - and welcome. Another option worth considering ................. take a look at older Autosleepers monocoque GRP motorhome. Find a doer-upper. With luck you'll be able to use it whilst doing any work needed and because it's an Autosleepers it will sell easily and, if you are careful, you'll make a small profit.
