Just a thought..

Is it ok to connect the AES output from the controller to power a cooling fan at the top of the fridge?
Right or wrong, the way I see it is -
Plenty of sun = lots of heat but also spare power.
Sun goes down (followed by heat and solar power) fan goes off till following sunny morning.

Any thoughts appreciated

You would be better off putting in a proper fan controller for the fridge in my opinion, the AES output is only a signal to switch AES S+ compatible fridge onto 12v.

I think it would switch through a relay but it would be on a lot of the time that it didn't need to be, temperature controlled would be better, I used the CBE kit two fans and a controller much cheaper from Netherlands.
