In anticipation of the staycation this summer VisitScotland have put together a series of guides to raise awareness of how to enjoy your holiday whilst respecting the area you visit, the environment and the residents. It’s a handy wee reminder for us all. I personally feel that every Motorhome/campervan hire company should show it to potential renters before they go anywhere!

CAMpRA have been proactive , and the Highlands in particular have embraced supporting the rural communities with stopovers/service points. If I mention that the midgie forecast is for a belter this year, the less than hardy will give it a miss! Oh, and the ticks are out already! Failte gu Alba!
