Virgin Media O2 says it will not reintroduce fees for mobile data use and calls in EU countries.

Hopefully that'll stop the others introducing them, why would you not use O2 or virgin if your operator wanted to charge you extra

I don't object to a small charge - its the data cap that annoys me

It's a start but the data cap of 25GB is still there though, Superdrug are still offering unlimited data for £20 per month and with no data cap in the EU.

That was brilliant when we used it last year just hope it stays but I don't hold out too much hope.

Are you saying that you read there WILL still be some charges made by Virgin / O2 for roaming?

I can't see that?

Being a long time Virgin Mobile customer, with three different sims, it sounds like very good news to me.

I never mentioned Virgin/02, I was just pointing out EE & Vodafone have back peddled on the high charges they were going to introduce.
