Vinaròs To Morella Rd Spain (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know what the n-232 rd between the the 2 towns is like ?
I'm a bit of a wimp and were thinking of going but someone told me it's not a good rd !
The map says its scenic but I would like scenic without being frightened !!!
Also if we go we need to carry on to end up @ Alcañiz then onto Zaragoza rather than come back.
Sorry I know I'm being a bit of a wimp but need to ask !

Went that way in May towing our caravan, a little twisty in places and the odd hairpin but nothing ridiculous. We stopped at the municipal site at Zaragoza for two nights so we could visit Zaragoza on the bus, worth a visit but the site is expensive.......€29 a night for two, car & caravan!

Hi, we use this route with 6.5m Hymer, the camperstop at Morella is on the opposite side of the road from the town, worth using, although a little rustic.

Going to visit Morello been told it's worth it and we would use the aire overnight before moving onto Zaragoza

very interesting . i missed the aire and drove right into and through the town . thats with a 10mtr truck and fifth wheeler . it was ok . shame i missed the stop. i couldnt park in ther town .ha ha .

I live in Ulldecona near Vinaros
providing you take the Vinaros Morella Zarragoza road you will be fine, large wagons use this route every day.
The trip of about 60 Kilometres to Morella from Vinaros is well worth it

That makes me feel better I know I'm a wimp but narrow roads and long drops are not my idea of fun
We planned on using the N232 which I believe is the Zaragoza rd the one you also mention.

Yes that's one, turn right off the N340 Vinaros. There is a bypass of Vinaros And Benicarlo being constructed at the moment, but I think the Morella Zarragoza turn off if completed will be well indicated. Whilst you in the area Peniscola is another world heritage site well worth a visit. Buen viajes

Morella has town wifi free too. They will let you overnight in the top carpark too if you don't like the aire

Had a fab trip up the N232 it was amazing seeing all the HGV going up the tiers managed hopefully to get a photo of them. The hair pins are a bit scary thou
Morella was beautiful the Church was Amazing

The Aire was fine three others on. Drove up to top in the morning and would definitely stop up there next time to visit in the evening.

This picture was the top carpark. Our van at the time can be seen in the distance if you look between the two foreground vans. We later moved to the foreground but that was a mistake as an almighty wind got up overnight that was quite worrying .
The picture looks askew but if you look at the buildings it isn't.

Glad you enjoyed Morella, I visit there when I have friends staying always enjoy going. Try Peniscola next time your in this area.
