Villasol & Torreta Update (1 Viewer)

The well trodden path between the two has become a lot safer. The main road has bumps all the way down from the top traffic lights, there are now footpaths / cycle tracks on both sides. Also crossings at the Torreta road and Villasol gate.

Also, it seems that the Bar in Torreta is under new management, with only 2 of the waitresses left. We were there yesterday and shock horror they are NOT SELLING THE PINK STUFF ANYMORE.

October for Irene, going out for my sisters birthday. She's there 19th -26th.
All being well we are trying to come do a month in November in the van, otherwise we will fly out for the great Funsters birthday week celebrations..

You should see the lovely footpaths paid for from the EU "pot".. pity they don't go anywhere and finish in the middle of nowhere.

We noticed it on our trips into Spain a few years back , incredible roads from north to south and new tarmac roads between fields of oranges.

We haven't tried at Villasol yet, but no doubt it won't be long.
The cycle tracks go down to the Coconut turn off and they have fitted blue bollards on the right side of the road to create a footpath to the market.
They have also put red two way cycle tracks from the Torreta lights to the bottom of the Rincon right down the middle of the road

The bar staff at Torreta were different when we were there in May and June. The waiter is called Manuel and doesn't speak any English but is very friendly ?
Wonder if they had any floods recently ?

Villasol, you couldn't move for 19 plate range rovers and cussing degenerates all hours. I just picked the wrong week as have been before and it was all good. Location is spot on for a quick walk to the seafront

Looks like I will be seeing those Cycle paths earlier than planned. !

My sister was taken into hospital yesterday, nothing to serious but does mean she cant travel with Irene on the 18th. Silly cow didnt take any travel insurance and so cant claim and Irene can only claim 1/2 back less the excess and a load of paperwork just to get that..

So looks like a name change for £50 and Benidorm here i come.. Keep the beers cold, see you soon.
