Just booked Villasol from 30/12 till 31/01 did not realize that that the ACSI rate is not available over the Christmas and New Year, getting charged 29 euro from 30/12 to 31/12, then 30 euro 01/01 till 06/01 then 20 euro for the remainder.

That is in accord with the ACSI site information.

"Campsite Villasol is a campsite with 506 touring pitches and 163 year round pitches. During low season, between 07-01-2019 - 16-04-2019, 22-04-2019 - 12-07-2019 and 01-09-2019 - 27-12-2019, the nightly rate is €20"

Most sites do not allow ACSI price in peak holidays like Easter, it's more unusual at New Year.

Also I've heard the allocated ACSI pitches are on the edge of the site near the road. It's only 15 euro a night at Torreta if you stay 45 nights ? ?

If it's true bookings are down in Benidorm it is always worth asking the site for a deal,ACSI is not always the cheapest price especially if your staying for a couple of months.

Thanks only stopping 30 nights but did not want to chance being put in the fridge area on La Torreta, plus everywhere is about full. Plus been told Villasol do a cracking sunday dinner (y)

Hi Ditcha, we are on Villasol at the moment. It was very busy when we arrived and still is. We are using our ACSI card and were able to choose our pitch and are not near the road where it is noisy from passing traffic. We are on pitch 710, it is a good size and about as private as a pitch on a big site gets. The booking people are very helpful .If you have a pitch number we could check it out for you. I have heard that La Torretta is liable to flood in heavy rain but not sure if it is so.
Regards Pam

Yes the bottom of Torreta floods after heavy rain but you get an hour to move up the hill a bit. Done it 3 times now ?

Hi Pam, thanks for that but I think we will be allocated a pitch when we arrive on the day, to be honest I am not that bothered where we are, I think all the pitches are okay, if we are next to the road and it bothers us we will just see about moving when another come free. (y)

A lot do that, camping Javea doesn't do it if your on long term rate, It's like Christmas dinners people pay from €50 to €70 + a head and while people pay it will only go up. o_O
We go to a Spanish restaurant 3 courses and no bumping up the drinks its normal rates, everyone has a choice, but if the demand is there. ?
Our apartment is the same 11th July until 30th August fully booked and that's the peak rate €950 a week for 2 bed apartment in prime position, and could be booked over and over again, but that's direct, if you book it through an agent you add 2 or €300 more. ?? Bob.

Try Raco I booked two days ago for December

Do Raco bump the price up for Christmas / New Year ?

Stopped at Arena Blanca last year as we had the dog, their price was the same rate right through but we were on the long stay rate.

I don't think so.best to ask them ,good luck

We arrived on Villasol yesterday and are paying ACSI rate of €20 , we transferred our booking from Feb as we had to cancel and we are on 615 which is perfectly placed next to Sheddy and Shirley. We didn’t realise but Villasol had booked us into it even though we’re only staying about 5 weeks. The rules seem to vary depending on who you speak to. It is full, they were turning people away when we arrived yesterday.
