Recently i was towing my white VW up at night. My top camera (waeco) shows a rear view of bonnet and beyond, at times the car looked white and pink at others. Its obvious when braking. The low camera direct at front (cheap chinese) is not so dramatic in difference (also 2 different monitors). When stopped i checked the rear lights on van and car were on. Has any one experianced this or have i a rear light problem?
Likely location? Van ducato 130 2017 rapido 13pin electrics

When towing your car the light should be on if the van lights are on.
On my 107 the front side lights are on also.

Magic paint.....

Seriously, as long as all lights are working why worry, you won't have pink lights on the van.
it will be the camera image sensor night quality picking up reflected red light 'diluted' by the white paint

Font sidelights are on.
The change from white to pink makes me think I've got an intermitant rear light fault/ connection.
I hadn't concidered magic paint. What a fool i am.

The change from white to pink and back, its not constant (with 2 independent camera and 2 monitors) makes me think I've got an intermitant rear light fault/ connection. I'm not worried it looks pink.
